Over the last week in 3/4B, we have been working on measurement and calculating the perimeter of different shapes. We had fun exploring different play areas outside and measuring the perimeter of these spaces. We used metre-ruler sticks and trundle wheels and then compared our results with other groups. Our measuring was quite accurate with most results ranging within a few metres of each other.
