The Mighty Penguins had perfect weather on Monday for our first walk of the Term.  There is always so much to see and talk about on our Wonder Walks, time just seems to fly by! Penguin is a truly unique, physical environment, perfect for children to explore!  We are so fortunate to be able to freely wander through, and wonder about, our dynamic everchanging place. Many children became immersed in their conversations as they make connections with personally significant places and notice ‘ten tiny things’. Highlights from our day included noticing many community features seen on Google Earth in ‘the real world’, filling pockets with ‘treasures’, creating artwork on the beach, seeing familiar faces out and about in the community, and telling many, many stories.
