Dear Families

 

The Hive

 

As part of the Year 10 Science Evolution of the Universe course, students will be travelling to the Hive located at 50 Main Street in Ulverstone. This business has a planetarium and workshops designed to teach students about space and stellar evolution.

 

The students will be transported to and from the Hive by a chartered bus and will be accompanied by staff members. We’ll be leaving school at 11:15 am and return to school at 2:40 pm on Monday 17th November 2025.

 

Students will need to be in full school uniform. Students can bring money if they would like to purchase food or drinks from the café for lunch otherwise students will need to bring a packed Lunch.

 

The cost of the trip is covered by the class budget – so there is no cost on the day for students.
