Math Methods Exam

 

Dear Families

 

This letter is to give you information about the end of year exam for Mathematics Methods 3 – Foundation students in year 10. We are travelling to and from the examination at Hellyer College on Week 5 Monday 10 November on the school bus.

 

Mr Ashley King will be driving the bus accompanied by Bec Kaine. We will be leaving Penguin District School at 8:10 am on this date. The exam will go for 3 hours, commencing at 9:00 am and we will return to school at approximately 2:00 pm. The group will stop in Burnie for a brief lunch on the way back to Penguin District School so students are welcome to bring money for lunch or their own packed lunch from home.

On Thursday 30 October Mr. King will be running a session for revision to allow students the opportunity to have a study day. This will go from 9:00 am until 2:50 pm. However, students should begin preparing for the exam by attempting some of the resources handed out in class or in teams so that they can produce their best work on the day.
